The memories of our trips are still a source of strength to me. I remember we'd all pile into the Van - I forget what kind it was - and drive and drive. I'm not sure where we'd go, but I think there were some trees there. The smell of something was strong in the air as we played whatever sport we played. I remember a bigger, older guy we called "Dad." We'd eat some stuff, or not, and then I think we went home. I guess some things never leave you.

A thief in Paris planned to steal some paintings from the Louvre. After careful planning, he got past security, stole the paintings and made it safely to his van. However, he was captured only two blocks away when his van ran out of gas. When asked how he could mastermind such a crime and then make such an obvious error, he replied, “Monsieur, that is the reason I stole the paintings. I had no Monet to buy Degas to make the Van Gogh.”

See if you have De Gaulle to post this on your blog-site. I figured that I had nothing Toulouse!

ONLY AUSSIES

Being Australian is about driving in a German car
To an Irish pub for A Belgian beer,
Then on the way home, grabbing an Indian curry
Or A Turkish kebab, to sit on Swedish furniture and
Watch American shows on a Japanese TV.

Oh and....
Only in Australia ...
Can a pizza get to your house faster
Than an
  ambulance

Only in Australia ... Do supermarkets make
Sick people walk all the way to the back of the shop
To get milk while healthy people
Can buy cigarettes at the front.

Only in Australia ...
Do people order double cheeseburgers,
Large fries and a DIET coke.

Only in Australia ...
Do banks leave both doors wide open
And chain the pens to the counters.

Only in Australia ...
Do we leave cars worth thousands of dollars
In the driveway and
lock our junk and cheap lawn mower
In the garage.

NOT TO MENTION....

In the last two years after opening bottles of beer with their teeth.
A massive 543 Aussies were admitted to Emergency

And finally.........

In 2000 eight Aussies cracked their skull
Whilst throwing up into the toilet.
